Reflective blog 12-13

I thought these two chapters were not as interesting as the past ones. They were still really good but not as much WOW. I don't like the fact that the town is becoming more modern and finding new things like the movies and the railroad. I guess it is because all of that just seems like it is taking away all the natural ways of Macondo and bringing in new people and new things. I didn't like Mr. Herbert because after he came a lot of new people and inventions came and that might lead to worse things for Macondo. The new cops make me really mad, like FURIOUS, grrr. I can't believe they cut some kid into pieces just for spilling soda and then killed the boys grandfather. That is worse than disgusting it is inhuman and should not happen at anytime. When CAB told people that him and his sons would kill the gringo's I thought something bad was going to happen and i was right. I was super angry when his sons died, expecially because the people killed them in such harsh ways. I didn't understand what happened to the 17th son that escaped, does he not come into the story anymore? When Remedios the Beauty is lifted to the sky I didn't really expect that, ( well actually i did because Mrs. Blaber gave it away in class.) but i did not expect it to happen like that, with the white sheets. i thought that the sheets symbolized wings of angels, and that maybe Remedios is to beautiful to be human so she was lifted to be an angel. I was suprised that Fernanda only cared about her sheets and not Rememdios.
When all the new peopl come the town gets all crazy and people have sex in the street. that is gross! just because there is a lot of things going on in town doesn't mean you get to do that, it is so disrespectful. I feel bad for Ursula because she doesn't want to tell her family that she's blind just becasue she doesn't want them to think she is useless. I like how she realizes more things when she is blind, that may represent that when you don't try to hard to see things you can understand it better. I was happy that it finally shows what is wrong with Amaranta and why she rejects men.
I was really annoyed when Meme brought the nuns and schoolgirls, i don't know why but I think it is because if they were in my house i'd be pissed.
I dislike Fernanda A LOT, she thinks she can take control of the house. I understand why Aureliano doesn't stay with her, but i don't like Petra Cotes either. I dont like anyone in that love triangle. Why does mud always show up in the text with blood. there is the number three a lot in this book. CAB seriously has no heart, but i still feel bad for him. when he see's that he made 17 fishes I thought that they symbolized his 17 sons. He died next to where his father rests.
